This job opportunity is with a well-established casino known for offering a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for its visitors and employees. The casino is a vibrant entertainment venue that includes not only gaming areas with slot machines and table games but also dining and bar services. The facility focuses heavily on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction to enhance the overall guest experience.
The position is for an essential role within the casino's cleaning and maintenance team. The employee will be responsible for maintaining the interior and exterior cleanliness of the establishment, which includes cleaning restrooms, floors, carpets, mirrors, entry doors, and various customer and employee areas. Additionally, the role involves supporting cocktail servers by clearing empty drinks and bottles and maintaining ashtrays, ensuring the environment remains orderly and presentable.
The role requires attention to detail and the ability to follow scheduled cleaning protocols, including checking and maintaining casino bathrooms hourly, cleaning employee restrooms per shift, and managing waste receptacles and ashtrays both inside and outside the casino. Other responsibilities include cleaning coupon counters, slot machines, bar areas, diner mats, floor drains, and picture frames. The position also involves periodic tasks such as vacuuming offices, stairs, and break rooms, pressure washing external surfaces, and cleaning brass foot rails and TV screens.
This is an hourly position that demands a proactive and reliable individual capable of managing multiple tasks assigned by the Porter Manager, Customer Service Manager (CSM), or Lead Porter. The job requires the exertion of physical effort including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and trash collection in a fast-paced casino environment. The role is instrumental in ensuring the casino maintains its reputation as a clean and inviting space for guests and staff, contributing directly to the casino’s operational success.

Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Clean casino bathrooms hourly including mopping floors, wiping down stalls, cleaning toilets, sinks, mirrors, and refilling all supplies
- Clean employee bathrooms once per shift
- Clean all casino entry doors and remove trash
- Empty all trash receptacles and cigarette receptacles
- Pick up and empty trash in employee smoking area
- Clean diner and bar mats and floor drains during designated times
- Clean pictures and posters as needed
- Clean ashtrays and wipe down slot machines, throw away bottles and cups
- Wipe down sports book counters, tables, and lounge tables
- Clean offices by emptying trash and vacuuming twice per week
- Vacuum stairs and break room daily
- Clean casino mirrors twice weekly
- Check parking lot and sidewalks for trash regularly
- Clean brass foot rails around bars and wipe down table and slot machine bases
- Clean exit signs and TV screens
- Pressure wash building exterior, sidewalks, and trash receptacles
- Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor
