Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1 year dishwashing experience preferred
- ability to lift 50lbs
- must be able to stand and work on feet for 8-10 hours minimum
- must have reliable transportation
- must have positive attitude
Job Duties
- Maintains a clean kitchen, properly washes and sorts soiled dishes, and preps food as needed
- keeps the dish area free of clutter and organized
- sets up dish stations, including dish machines and sinks
- maintains clean and dry floors throughout the shift
- properly washes, stacks, and stores glassware, silverware, cookware, and storage containers
- changes water of machines and sinks every two hours, or more often as required by business levels, and properly dilutes cleaning chemicals
- assists in the timely storing of food deliveries
- maintains trash cans throughout shift and removes full trash cans and boxes at the end of each shift
- follows the posted daily dish cleaning duties
- assists in other duties set forth or requested by the chef and lead porter as needed
