Job Description

Morgan Properties is a leading national real estate investment and management company with a rich history dating back to its establishment in 1985 by Mitchell Morgan. Headquartered in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, the company has grown impressively under the leadership of Jonathan and Jason Morgan, the next-generation leaders who oversee the business operations and continue to expand the platform. With over 2,600 employees and a multifamily portfolio that includes more than 400 apartment communities and over 110,000 units across 22 states, Morgan Properties stands as one of the three largest multifamily owners in the United States, holding the top position in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and New York. The company is celebrated for its strong capital relationships, swift decision-making, and operational expertise, positioning it as a powerhouse in the multifamily real estate sector.

The Porter role at Morgan Properties is a vital part of the maintenance team, responsible for upholding the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of the community to ensure a welcoming environment for residents and visitors alike. This position requires a dedicated individual who is proactive, reliable, and ready to serve with attention to detail. The Porter will be tasked with cleaning and maintaining community models, vacant units, and public access areas such as the office and clubhouse. Essential duties include cleaning apartments after move-out to prepare them for new residents, removing trash daily from the grounds, sweeping sidewalks and driveways regularly, watering trees, trimming grass and shrubs, and supporting the maintenance team with make-ready preparations. Additionally, the Porter will assist housekeeping when needed, replenish bathroom supplies, replace light bulbs, distribute flyers and letters to residents, and help maintain the cleanliness of the maintenance shop. A key aspect of this role is ensuring the security of the property at all times, including safeguarding all keys and restricting access to authorized personnel only.

Morgan Properties offers this position as a full-time role with a competitive hourly pay range of $18.00 to $20.00. The company provides an extensive benefits package which includes up to a 20 percent rent discount at any Morgan owned property, property staff shared renewal commissions paid monthly, a quarterly $300 Morgan Essentials bonus, and an employee referral payment program with bonuses up to $750. Employees can also benefit from Morgan Properties’ education and tuition reimbursement program, medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and AD&D insurance, long and short-term disability plans, and a 401(k) retirement plan with company match. Generous paid time off, inclusive of 10 holidays per year and sick leave, further enhances the work-life balance. Employees also have access to an Employee Assistance Program and additional exclusive employee discounts.

By joining Morgan Properties as a Porter, candidates will become part of a nationally recognized company known for its stability, growth opportunities, and commitment to employee development. This role offers a chance to contribute meaningfully to maintaining high-quality living environments while gaining valuable experience in the property management and maintenance industry. Individuals with a reliable work ethic, a willingness to support the team, and a commitment to community aesthetics will find this position fulfilling and rewarding.
