Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Porter is entrusted with maintaining the cleanliness and aesthetics of the apartment community, ensuring that all common areas, amenities, and exterior spaces uphold Venterra's high standards. This role involves a diverse range of responsibilities that contribute directly to creating a welcoming and safe environment for the residents. The Porter is tasked with trash removal, performing light maintenance duties, and assisting with the preparation of apartments for new residents during turnover periods. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a proactive mindset to uphold organizational quality and resident satisfaction.\n\nA crucial aspect of the Porter's work includes maintaining the grounds, swimming pools, spas, parking lots, breezeways, and other communal areas, ensuring they are clean, safe, and visually appealing. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in groundskeeping janitorial or maintenance preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift and carry over 75 lbs rarely 25 to 75 lbs occasionally 1 to 25 lbs constantly
- Availability to provide emergency and on-call maintenance support
- Strong attention to detail and proactive approach to tasks
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently
- Reliable transportation to Monteverde location

- Previous experience in groundskeeping janitorial or maintenance preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

- Ability to lift and carry over 75 lbs rarely 25 to 75 lbs occasionally 1 to 25 lbs constantly
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently
- Basic knowledge of maintenance and cleaning equipment
- Reliability and strong work ethic
Job Duties
- Maintain the cleanliness and curb appeal of the property including grounds swimming pools spas parking lots breezeways and common areas
- Ensure cleanliness functionality and safety of amenities at all times
- Assist in the unit turn process by removing items left by previous residents
- Deliver notices manage trash removal and promptly address debris or hazards on the property
- Work independently while following company standards demonstrating attention to detail and maintaining a commitment to resident satisfaction
- Provide emergency and on-call maintenance support as needed
- Support the team with other duties as needed to maintain resident satisfaction and property standards
