We are seeking a diligent and trustworthy Car Porter to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring that the dealership's vehicle inventory is well-maintained, properly organized, and easily accessible. As a Car Porter, you will be responsible for moving and parking cars within the dealership lot, including transporting vehicles between the showroom display area, the workshop, storage, and pick-up points. Your responsibilities will also include keeping the lot clean and orderly, managing vehicle cleanliness both inside and out, and performing basic maintenance tasks such as battery changes and fluid top-ups. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, exhibits strong safe driving skills, and who understands the importance of handling valuable property with care. Experience working in a car dealership environment and excellent customer service skills will be advantageous. Moreover, the ideal candidate should be willing to learn and undertake a variety of tasks as requested by the Lot Manager. The Car Porter position involves an 8-hour shift with weekend availability and requires maintaining a valid in-state driver's license with insurability under the dealership’s insurance policy.
