The role of Porter at Doggett is a critical position aimed at maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the shop, as well as assisting the service department with various support tasks. This non-exempt position plays a vital part in the daily operations by ensuring the facility is kept in top condition and that customer units are managed efficiently. The Porter helps facilitate the smooth movement of vehicles in and out of the facility and supports logistical functions such as pickups and deliveries, contributing to overall customer service excellence. This position calls for a proactive individual who can drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles confidently and safely. Having additional qualifications such as a Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is advantageous but not mandatory. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- Must be able to perform physical duties involved in cleaning and moving vehicles
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to follow safety protocols
- A Class B CDL is a plus but not required
- Previous warehouse or shop experience preferred

- Helps with pickup and delivery of customer units if applicant has at least a Class B CDL

- Must be able to drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles
