We are currently seeking a part-time Porter to join our maintenance team at one of our 112-unit residential communities. As a Part-Time Porter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of the building's common areas. Reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor, your responsibilities will include ensuring that shared spaces such as the front lobby, hallways, restrooms, elevators, stairways, and parking areas are clean, sanitary, and well-maintained. This role is vital in creating a welcoming and positive environment for residents and visitors, directly impacting their day-to-day experience.

This position is part-time, requiring 25 hours per week Monday through Friday, and offers a competitive wage in the range of $17.00 to $19.00 per hour, with the possibility of annual performance bonuses and overtime pay for non-exempt employees. The Porter role requires a detail-oriented and dependable individual who takes pride in their work and is committed to exceeding expectations through exceptional service. You will be entrusted with various cleaning and light maintenance duties, such as vacuuming, waxing floors, replacing light bulbs, assisting with snow removal and grounds maintenance, and managing janitorial supplies. The ideal candidate will have previous janitorial or porter experience in residential or commercial settings and possess basic knowledge of light maintenance tasks. Physical ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs, reliable transportation, and a professional, courteous demeanor are essential for success in this role.
