Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Minimum 1-year dishwasher experience
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds, more with assistance
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods
- Ability to move quickly and turn from left to right or right to left
- Ability to read and visually verify information
- Ability to inspect tools, equipment, or machines for defects
- Ability to work in environments with exposure to heat, cleaning chemicals, and noise
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to perform multiple duties in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 1-year dishwasher experience
- Proper practice of sanitation and general hygiene
- Ability to read and/or follow written and verbal instructions
- Must be able to perform in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Communicate clearly and effectively
- Ability to be flexible and to perform multiple tasks effectively

- Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dish machine
- Sort, stack, and carry clean dishes to cook line and other proper storage areas, and rewash soiled dishes before delivering
- Change dishwater for the dish machine every hour
- Wash pots, pans, and trays by hand
- Remove trash and garbage to dumpster
- Set up or break down dishwashing area
- Clean, roll, and unroll mats to standard
- Fill the empty soak tubs with cleaning and sanitizing solutions
- Sweep and mop floors
- Assemble and disassemble dish machine
- Sweep up trash around exterior of restaurant and garbage dumpster
- Conduct general restaurant and restroom cleaning as directed
- Wipe up any spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dry
- Notify manager and time dish machine wash or rinse cycle falls below sty standard temperatures
- Stocking orders
- Ordering supplies or product needed and able to take inventory for orders
- Any other duties as assigned
