Job Requirements

One year experience in housekeeping, janitorial or related professional area is preferred
Hands-on experience with industrial cleaning equipment
Physical fitness to perform tasks involving standing, bending, squatting, and lifting objects weighing 40 plus lbs
Reliability, professionalism, attention to detail, and thoroughness in your work
Familiarity with the safe use of sanitation products and equipment
US work authorization is required

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or related professional area
Hands-on experience with industrial cleaning equipment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in all tasks
Good communication skills for reporting issues
Physical fitness to perform physically demanding tasks

Job Duties

Follow established schedules and procedures for trash collection and disposal
Maintain cleanliness by sweeping and mopping floors and stairwells
Clean and upkeep exterior grounds, sidewalks, and trash areas
Sweep and mop stairwells monthly, with weekly inspections
Promptly report any damages to ensure timely repairs
Clean and maintain all finished interior spaces, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning glass, furniture, and restrooms, and removing trash
Promote safety by placing hazard signs, such as 'Wet Floor' and 'Wet Paint' signs, as needed
Report any equipment or maintenance issues to the manager
Clean and maintain unfinished floors, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal
