Job Duties
- Greet and escort guests to rooms
- open doors and assist guests and visitors entering and leaving property
- inform guests of property amenities, services, hours of operation, and local areas of interest
- identify and explain room features to guests
- transport guest luggage to and from rooms or designated areas
- assist with luggage storage and retrieval
- assist guests and visitors in and out of vehicles, including loading and unloading luggage
- provide guests with directions
- arrange transportation such as taxicabs, shuttle buses, limousines, and sedan services and record advance transportation requests
- communicate parking procedures to guests and visitors
- follow all company policies and procedures
- report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management
- maintain awareness of undesirable persons on property premises
- ensure clean and professional appearance
- maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
- welcome and acknowledge all guests
- anticipate and address guest service needs
- assist individuals with disabilities
- thank guests with genuine appreciation
- use clear and professional language
- answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
- develop and maintain positive working relationships
- comply with quality assurance expectations
- visually verify information in various formats
- move at speeds required to respond to work situations
- stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 50 pounds without assistance and over 75 pounds with assistance
- navigate sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and stairs or ramps
- reach overhead and below the knees, including bending and twisting
- perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors
