As part of the team, a Porter will undertake various cleaning and maintenance tasks which contribute directly to the operational success and positive image of the facilities they service. The role demands adherence to safety, security, compliance, and quality standards, emphasizing communication and collaboration with clients, supervisors, and co-workers to achieve optimal results. Porters are responsible for routine tasks such as cleaning floors, furniture, fixtures, walls, and other surfaces, utilizing chemical cleaners and power equipment safely to avoid damage. Additional duties include handling minor repairs, notifying management of significant facility issues, managing waste disposal, maintaining restrooms, and performing seasonal outdoor tasks like raking leaves or snow removal.
