Nauset Disposal is currently hiring for the position of Residential CDL Route Driver to join their expanding team in Plymouth, MA. This is a full-time role offering a well-structured Monday through Friday schedule starting at 6:00 a.m., with occasional Saturdays as needed, totaling between 50 to 55 hours per week. The role comes with competitive compensation starting at $27.00 per hour, with pay rates potentially increasing based on experience. As a Residential CDL Route Driver, your primary responsibility will be the safe and efficient operation of a garbage truck on designated routes throughout the Plymouth area. This includes reading and following route sheets to ensure all customers are serviced accurately and promptly. You will perform routine pre- and post-route inspections on your vehicle, checking fluids, tires, and safety equipment to maintain operational readiness and safety compliance. Professionalism and courteous interactions with customers are essential aspects of the role, as you represent the company during each service call. This position requires physical stamina, including the ability to lift at least 50 pounds repeatedly and the capacity to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Paid training is provided, ensuring you are well-prepared to meet the company’s high safety and service standards.
