This role is for a Restaurant Manager at a Popeye's unit, a pivotal position responsible for overseeing the comprehensive operations of the restaurant. The Restaurant Manager uses discretion in daily management decisions and is accountable for ensuring the effective execution of the Service Profit Chain (SPC) and Brand Promise. This includes focusing on internal service, external service, sales, and profit while ensuring compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory mandates.

The manager plays a key role in recruiting, training, developing, and evaluating restaurant employees, ensuring that there are sufficient staffing levels and that the team is well-prepared to deliver excellent guest service. They are instrumental in creating a positive workplace environment that is fun, clean, and safe, driving employee motivation, teamwork, and high performance. They personally lead by example and treat all employees with respect and dignity while regularly recognizing and rewarding outstanding contributions.

Externally, the Restaurant Manager ensures that guests receive exceptional service and high-quality food by managing daily operational activities and holding the team accountable. They continuously monitor guest feedback to enhance the dining experience and maintain the brand’s image through impeccable restaurant cleanliness, maintenance, and service standards.

Experience requirements differ for internal promotions and external recruits, with a preference for candidates who possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and ideally an associate’s or bachelor’s degree.

  • Ability to perform basic math
  • Ability to stand and walk 85 to 95 percent of the shift
  • Ability to lift and carry 10 to 65 pounds
  • Ability to operate restaurant equipment and computer
  • Ability to drive a motor vehicle

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma G E D or equivalent
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred

  • ServSafe certification required
