The Server position at Life Time is vital in delivering exemplary customer service within the LifeCafe and Bistro dining areas. This role involves interacting daily with members by providing attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable service. Servers are responsible for presenting menus, taking and accurately delivering food and beverage orders, and maintaining cleanliness and orderly appearance in their assigned dining areas. The Server must be well-versed in the offerings and able to answer questions and make relevant recommendations to enhance the dining experience. Beyond basic serving tasks, the role demands speed and efficiency in order processing, bill calculation, and payment handling. Due to the nature of the environment, servers must be physically capable of working on their feet for extended periods and manage repetitive lifting tasks. Job Requirements
- One plus year of experience working in a restaurant with a fast casual or full service experience
- ServSafe certification required within the first 90 days of hire
- CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire
- Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs
- Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the cafe for prolonged periods of time
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year of experience working in a restaurant with fast casual or full service experience

- Ability to communicate clearly and provide excellent customer service
- Knowledge of menu items including food and beverage offerings

Job Duties
- Presents menu, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food and service
- Takes orders from members/customers in assigned stations at the pool deck, relays information to the kitchen, and efficiently delivers the food/drink items ordered
- Ensures cleanliness and order of the area including cleaning surfaces and placing tables/chairs in proper places
- Calculates bill and processes payments
