Job Duties
- Mix and serve beverages to order and make appropriate charges to members account
- prepare drinks for servers to serve and serve directly to members and their guests
- take cocktail or food orders at the bar and at members tables when needed
- maintain sanitary conditions in all bar areas with strict adherence to cleaning opening and closing checklists
- collect all glassware sent to kitchen for cleaning
- set up bar at the beginning of each shift including requisitioning fruit and stocking beverage napkins, match books, straws, picks and towels
- stock bar, rotate inventory and report any shortages to supervisor
- handle all club equipment safely to minimize damage
- take daily inventory of liquors and beer
- polish all glassware
- maintain neat and orderly appearance while in proper uniform
- set up fruits and juices for portable bars
- keep reach-in and walk-in coolers clean, organized and properly rotated
- perform tableside wine service according to ICC standards
- report maintenance issues to supervisor
- transport beer, kegs, and wine from main kitchen to PKB walk-in cooler
- complete and total all bar tickets and return them to closing supervisor
- fill out requisition for liquor at end of shift and submit to closing supervisor
- lock beer taps and cabinets at shift end
- alert supervisor about potential underage drinking or overconsumption
- adhere to Club Bylaws and Rules
- report member complaints, infractions, and compliments to immediate supervisor
- perform other duties and special projects as assigned
