Job Requirements
- Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of various alcoholic beverages
- basic mathematical skills necessary to operate a cash register, make change, total guest checks, count total bank, prepare cash drops, total all other charges, and understand portion sizes
- sufficient manual dexterity in hands in order to use a knife to make garnishes, pick up glassware and bottles, scoop ice, mix drinks, and reach overhead to retrieve stock
- ability to read, speak, and understand the English language in order to communicate with guests and take orders
- ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods of time
- previous bartending experience required
- ability to obtain any government required license or certificate
- CPR certification and/or First Aid Training preferred
- bartending certificate preferred
- TIPS and ServSafe food handler certification required

Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly, promote drink orders, ensure satisfaction, and address concerns with professionalism and etiquette
- set up and maintain the pool bar daily, including stocking beer, wine, spirits, garnishes, paper goods, and condiments based on business projections
- promptly serve food and drinks, adhering to menu specifications and presentation standards
- prepare, cut, and store garnishes, fruits, juices, and other perishables, ensuring freshness and quality
- maintain cleanliness of the bar, pool area, and storage
- verify checks, process payments accurately, follow accounting guidelines, and balance house bank at shift end
- assist with private functions and special guest requests as needed
- set up and break down workstations, clear equipment, and perform general cleaning tasks assigned by the supervisor
- adhere to all state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
