Job Description
Four Seasons is a globally renowned luxury hotel and resort company, celebrated for delivering exceptional guest experiences through unparalleled service, refined accommodations, and commitment to excellence. With a presence in some of the world’s most sought-after destinations, Four Seasons prides itself on fostering a world-class employee experience and a company culture rooted in respect, growth, and genuine hospitality. The organization values its employees as its greatest asset, encouraging continuous improvement and pushing boundaries to create lasting impressions for guests and team members alike. This culture of care extends across every property and department, ensuring a consistent standard of luxury coupled with heartfelt service worldwide.
The Austin location of Four Seasons uniquely embodies the vibrant spirit of the city while offering a tranquil lakeside retreat. Situated in the heart of downtown Austin along the beautiful Lady Bird Lake, this hotel provides guests with convenient access to the city's iconic attractions while offering a secluded oasis to relax and rejuvenate. The property features 286 well-appointed guest rooms and suites, two award-winning dining outlets named Ciclo and Live Oak, a luxury spa, and an expansive 17,121-square-foot event space. As one of Austin's longest-standing luxury hotels, it combines legendary service with exciting seasonal activations and continually evolving food and beverage experiences that captivate guests and locals alike.
The Pool Server/Bartender role within the Pool and Recreation department at Four Seasons Austin is integral to maintaining this elevated guest experience by ensuring guests enjoy a welcoming and polished atmosphere at the hotel pool. This full-time position, effective from January 1, 2026, requires dedication to outstanding hospitality service, including greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, serving beverages professionally, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the pool area. The role demands multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and adherence to company standards.
Working at the pool with exposure to Austin’s hot and humid climate, the Pool Server/Bartender is responsible for stocking amenities, handling point-of-sale functions such as ringing sales and completing end-of-day reports, and assisting guests with seating and amenity information. These duties contribute not only to guest satisfaction but also to the smooth daily operations of the pool area. Employees in this role must also follow Four Seasons’ strict standards of conduct and safety protocols to maintain an environment that reflects the company’s prestigious reputation.
This position requires prior food and beverage experience, preferably in upscale resort settings, as well as excellent English language skills. Working independently without a manager on duty is typical, necessitating a responsible and self-motivated approach. The physical demands include considerable mobility throughout the shift, carrying trays, pushing carts, and performing duties outdoors. Evening and weekend availability are also essential due to business needs.
Four Seasons Austin offers competitive wages combined with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support and reward team members. Employees have access to continuous training and development to enhance their professional skills, along with employee discounts for stays at Four Seasons properties worldwide. Additional perks include complimentary dry cleaning for uniforms, employee meals, and parking, creating a supportive and rewarding work environment.
