Job Description
The Server position is with a dynamic restaurant establishment committed to providing an exceptional dining experience to all guests. This restaurant is known for its welcoming atmosphere, professional service, and attention to detail in both food and beverage offerings. The Server also handles cash transactions using the point-of-sale system, ensuring accurate billing and tipping according to company policies. The Server works collaboratively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow servers to ensure efficient workflow and excellent service, including assisting in training new employees when necessary.
This position may require the Server to assist with setting up and supporting private events, banquets, or special functions, providing additional service during high-volume occasions and helping to restore the restaurant to its ready state afterward. Physical stamina is important, as the role involves standing for extended periods, walking throughout shifts, and lifting items up to 25 pounds.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent may be required
- food safety certification may be required
- previous experience as a server or in a customer service role preferred
- experience with cash handling and POS systems
- knowledge of food and beverage service techniques and restaurant operations
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests and address their needs effectively

Job Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
- present menus and answer questions regarding menu items, ingredients, or specials
- take customer orders accurately and ensure special requests are communicated to the kitchen and bar
- serve food and beverages efficiently and in accordance with restaurant standards
- ensure all food and drink orders are presented neatly and with the correct garnishes
- offer recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience
- provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner
