Job Description
The St. Regis Atlanta, located at 88 W Paces Ferry Rd NW in Atlanta, Georgia, is part of the prestigious St. Regis Hotels & Resorts Collection. As a luxury hotel brand under Marriott International, St. Regis boasts over 50 luxury hotels and resorts worldwide, renowned for their blend of timeless glamour and modern sophistication. The brand originated with the debut hotel in New York by John Jacob Astor IV at the dawn of the 20th century, setting a standard for exceptional, anticipatory service. The St. Regis Atlanta exemplifies this commitment by delivering exquisitely crafted guest experiences in one of the South’s most vibrant cities. Marriott International, the parent company, is a global leader in hospitality, offering diverse career opportunities while fostering inclusive workplace environments that celebrate various cultures, talents, and experiences.
This role is for a Guest Service Expert, a full-time, non-management position within the Food and Beverage & Culinary category. The role is integral to enhancing the guest experience beyond merely serving food and beverages. The Guest Service Expert is dedicated to creating memorable, unique experiences for guests by taking initiative in numerous services that augment the overall visit. This includes everything from setting tables, communicating with the kitchen staff, interacting and serving guests, to maintaining clean work and storage areas. Your contributions will ensure that every interaction becomes an essential part of the guest’s positive experience.
In the dynamic and fast-paced environment of St. Regis Atlanta, this role requires physical stamina and a proactive attitude. Experts are often on their feet for long durations, moving across various surfaces, some uneven or slippery, performing physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, pushing items weighing up to 50 pounds, reaching high places, bending, twisting, stretching, and crouching. Professionalism in appearance, uniform compliance, and clear communication form vital components of success. Adherence to company guidelines, safety standards, and quality expectations is mandatory, ensuring the safety and satisfaction of both guests and fellow team members.
The ideal candidate will hold at least a high school diploma or equivalent, such as a GED, and bring less than one year of related work experience, although no supervisory experience or special licenses/certifications are required. Marriott International values diversity and inclusivity; therefore, all qualified individuals are encouraged to apply without fear of discrimination based on disability, veteran status, or other protected characteristics. This is a remarkable opportunity to join a globally recognized luxury brand where you can grow professionally in a supportive and enriching environment. By joining St. Regis, you become part of Marriott’s extensive family of brands, gaining access to substantial training, career advancement, and the chance to deliver world-class hospitality services.
