This position is based at the Four Seasons Hotel Miami, an urban oasis located on the residential side of Brickell. The opportunity is for a Pool & Bahia Server who possesses a passion for excellence and a natural enthusiasm for providing outstanding service. This role is integral to shaping the guests' experiences by ensuring every visitor receives impeccable service that aligns with Four Seasons' high standards. The Server will be responsible for anticipating guests’ needs and providing detailed knowledge of the food and beverage offerings, ensuring guests enjoy a seamless, pleasurable dining experience in this unique poolside and bar setting.

The role requires the ability to assess the needs of the guests by expertly describing menu items and preparation methods. Servers are expected to deliver high-quality service marked by professionalism, friendliness, and efficiency. This is a dynamic role that demands excellent communication skills, the ability to work flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, and a strong familiarity with food and beverage operations. Physical stamina is essential as the position involves standing and walking for extended periods and lifting items up to 20 pounds.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of food and beverage serving experience
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds
  • English reading and oral proficiency
  • Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • US work authorization required

Job Qualifications

  • 1-2 years food and beverage serving and/or related food and beverage experience
  • Reading and oral proficiency in the English language
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations
  • Ability to work all shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Assess the guest’s needs by providing exceptional knowledge of food and beverage menu items as well as information regarding preparation methods
  • Offer guests of the restaurant an enjoyable, expertly served beverage/dining experience conforming to Four Seasons standards of excellence for quality, professionalism and friendliness
  • Anticipate and service guests' requirements before requests are necessary
  • Accurately process cash and credit card transactions
  • Stand and walk for up to 8 hours
  • Lift and carry up to 20 pounds
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of poolside and dining areas
