Known for its luxurious setting blended with natural beauty, the resort offers a wide range of amenities including a Recreation Center, Three Graces Pools, an Infinity Pool, locker rooms, and a dedicated Teen Room. The role of Pool Attendant at the Garden of the Gods Resort and Club is integral to providing exceptional poolside service and ensuring the wellbeing and safety of all guests and members. This full-time position requires an individual who can manage pool setups, upkeep, and tear-downs, maintain cleanliness and organization in all pool-related areas, and assist with the smooth execution of pool events. The position demands a versatile employee capable of working flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, with a commitment to professional appearance and a positive, proactive attitude. With responsibilities ranging from greeting guests warmly to preparing and serving food and beverages, the Pool Attendant must embody the resort's high service standards and promote a safe and enjoyable environment for all pool patrons. Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or GED
- food and beverage experience required
- must be 18 years or older
- CPR and First Aid certification required or ability to obtain
- food handler and alcohol server certifications required or able to obtain
- basic math skills
- ability to communicate effectively
- basic computer skills
- ability to maintain professional appearance
- flexible to work scheduled shifts including weekends and holidays
- must adhere to safety and sanitation policies
- able to perform physical duties including lifting up to 70 lbs, standing, walking, bending, crawling, reaching, crouching, kneeling, balancing, pushing, and pulling
- willingness to work indoors and outdoors in various environmental conditions
- valid driver’s license
- able to work alone and closely with others.

Job Duties
- Ensure the safety of all pool patrons whether in or out of the pool
- work various hours and shifts as needed
- maintain assigned work schedule and communicate scheduling needs
- greet guests warmly and assist with menus
- maintain cleanliness and orderliness of pools, locker rooms, and Teen Room
- set up pools with chair covers and towels and replace them after guest departure
- escort guests to seating and arrange pool furniture for convenience
- vacuum pool, sweep pool deck, and remove trash daily
- promote and sell merchandise and upsell premium offerings
- provide product knowledge of culinary and beverage items
- maintain a positive and team-centered attitude
- uphold the resort's standards of excellence
- complete training and comply with safety policies
- accurately record and process orders and payments
- deliver food and beverages promptly and correctly
- provide condiments and utensils as requested
- prepare beverages according to recipes
- clear tables and maintain a clean work area
- be knowledgeable about resort services and promotions
- establish communication channels among teams
- welcome guests and check them in
- assist with pool events
- perform deep cleaning and stocking duties
- assist in snack bar functions and maintain equipment
- alert management of product needs and rotate stock
- label and prepare condiments and snack packs
- maintain cash reports
- address feedback professionally
- comply with company policies
- observe safety guidelines
- perform other duties as assigned
