The role of Pool Restaurant & Bar General Manager at this Four Seasons location is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing the complete poolside dining and beverage experience. This role demands a dynamic, results-driven professional capable of ensuring operational excellence, extraordinary guest service, and financial success. The General Manager will lead and mentor a dedicated team, maintaining the highest Four Seasons standards in service excellence. The position requires collaboration with multiple departments, including Food & Beverage, Culinary, Recreation, and Resort leadership to curate memorable guest experiences that align with the resort’s wellness-focused and luxury brand promise.

In this role, the General Manager will be entrusted with managing all aspects of the poolside food and beverage operations, including staff selection and training, budgeting, scheduling, and inventory control. They will ensure consistent quality control over ingredients, preparation, and presentation, while cultivating long-term guest relationships and fostering a welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, the General Manager will work closely with the culinary team to design innovative menus and beverage selections that meet guest expectations for both quality and value.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 annually along with comprehensive benefits aimed at supporting the health, wellbeing, and professional growth of the employee. Job Requirements

  • College degree preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management or equivalent experience
  • three to five years previous experience in multiple food & beverage department head positions
  • working knowledge of division operations as well as Four Seasons cultural and core standards, policies, and standard operating procedures
  • ability to operate computer equipment and food & beverage computer systems
  • reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English
  • legal work authorization in the United States

Job Duties

  • Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline employees and managers in the hotel's restaurants and lounges to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met
  • long-range strategic planning for outlet operation
  • ensure quality of amenities, ingredients, and preparation methods, as well as restock and organize all products and equipment to an attentive and distinctive experience in Recreation
  • control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory control while focusing on creative revenue generation solutions to maximize profit
  • be visible in the operation, recognize and maintain relationships with regular guests as well as cultivate relationships with new patrons
  • work closely with the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage, Executive Chef and Sous Chefs to design effective menus and wine list while ensuring excellent product quality at a fair price
  • communicate with employees and managers to ensure operational needs are met as well as attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments
  • comply with Four Seasons' Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact
  • work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
