Job Description

Renewing Management is a respected community-focused organization dedicated to restoring hope and transforming communities throughout Indiana for over two decades. With a deep commitment to improving quality of life, Renewing Management has established itself as a passionate and driven team of professionals who take pride in their work and foster an environment where every voice is heard and the best ideas flourish. As a leader in community revitalization and property management, the company operates with a mission to create safe, welcoming, and well-maintained living environments for residents, contributing to stronger and healthier neighborhoods.

The current opportunity is a part-time, temporary position as a Pool Monitor. This role is pivotal to ensuring a clean and safe amenity space that residents can enjoy without distractions or safety concerns. Within this position, the Pool Monitor will be responsible for overseeing pool access, enforcing pool rules, maintaining cleanliness, and promptly addressing any disturbances or safety issues. This job requires a diligent individual who can effectively communicate with residents, handle conflicts calmly and professionally, and ensure compliance with property guidelines. The Pool Monitor will operate within a supportive community management structure but is expected to show maturity, judgment, and responsibility while on duty.

The position is ideal for candidates interested in part-time employment with flexible hours during pool season, offering an impactful way to contribute to the well-being of a community. The Pool Monitor plays a critical role in preserving the enjoyment and safety of the pool area, ensuring that residents can have a positive experience. Key responsibilities include monitoring resident access via lanyard or key, regulating guest numbers according to leasing policies, enforcing liability waivers, and adhering to safety procedures including emergency responses. The role also involves physical tasks such as skimming debris from the pool, emptying trash receptacles, and securing the pool area at closing time.

Qualified candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills, conflict resolution capabilities, and the ability to maintain order in public spaces. Required certifications such as CPR and First Aid highlight the emphasis on safety knowledge. Although supervisory responsibilities are not part of this role, the Pool Monitor must independently make sound decisions and act promptly if emergencies arise, including contacting emergency services. This temporary position offers practical experience in property management and community service, all while supporting a mission-driven company committed to making a difference in Indiana communities. Overall, it is a rewarding opportunity for those who want to work in a dynamic environment where their efforts contribute directly to resident satisfaction and community engagement.
