Job Requirements

  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
  • excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized work area
  • basic knowledge of pool safety and rules is a plus
  • ability to work in outdoor and indoor conditions and stand for extended periods
  • flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as required
  • basic knowledge of food handling and safety guidelines
  • must provide valid high school approved work permit at time of onboarding
  • ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job
  • must complete SERVsafe certificate, harassment prevention training, workplace violence prevention, heat illness prevention, bloodborne pathogen and all other required onboarding checklists, orientations, and policy acknowledgements within first 30 days of hire

Job Duties

  • Greet club members and guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • enforce pool rules and regulations to ensure the safety and well-being of all pool users
  • monitor the pool area and promptly respond to any safety concerns or incidents
  • set up and arrange pool furniture, umbrellas, and equipment as needed
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool deck area, including picking up towels, trash, and other debris
  • ensure pool furniture is clean and in good condition
  • monitor pool water quality and report any issues to the appropriate personnel
  • assist club members and guests with any requests or inquiries related to the pool area
  • provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for club members and guests
  • assist in delivering food and beverage orders from the kitchen to poolside tables or designated areas
  • ensure accuracy and presentation of food and beverage items
  • collaborate with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure timely and efficient service
  • communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions to the kitchen staff
  • maintain a clean and organized food and beverage service area
  • assist with restocking supplies, such as napkins, utensils, and condiments
  • follow proper food handling and safety guidelines
  • clean and maintain the fitness facility, including exercise equipment, locker rooms, and common areas
  • ensure all fitness equipment is clean, functioning properly, and properly arranged
  • restock supplies, such as towels and sanitizing wipes
  • monitor and maintain the cleanliness of the locker rooms and restrooms, including restocking toiletries and cleaning fixtures
  • clean and sanitize high-touch areas, such as doorknobs, handrails, and countertops
  • perform routine cleaning tasks in the fitness facility, such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
  • empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste
  • follow all safety and sanitation protocols and guidelines
  • perform other duties as needed
