The Food Production role at Baptist Health plays a vital part in supporting the hospital’s mission by preparing and producing meals for patients and guests, ensuring that nutritional needs, food safety, and service quality standards are strictly met. This position involves adhering to standardized recipes, daily production guidelines, and food service requirements concerning quality, quantity, nutrition, appearance, temperature, and timeliness. The role requires strict compliance with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) protocols and the correct use of food preparation equipment and measuring devices to maintain sanitation and safety. The estimated pay for this position is $19.00 per hour, subject to shift applicability. This role not only supports the overall health and recovery of patients through good nutrition but also contributes to the positive guest experience at Baptist Health’s facilities by ensuring timely and high-quality food service. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of relevant experience
  • Food safety certification within 90 days of hire
  • Knowledge of sanitation and safety in food handling
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and procedures
