Job Description
The hiring establishment is a residential community that prides itself on delivering a luxurious and resort-style living experience for its residents. This community is dedicated to creating a welcoming, relaxing, and enjoyable environment by offering top-tier amenities, including a pristine community pool with poolside services and frequent events designed to foster community spirit among residents. The community is known for its emphasis on exceptional hospitality and resident satisfaction, making it an ideal place for individuals who thrive in customer service roles and enjoy creating memorable experiences in a social and outdoor setting.
This position is for a Pool Concierge, a pivotal hospitality role tasked with enhancing the overall resident experience at the pool area. The Pool Concierge acts as the face of the community in this specific setting, greeting residents and guests with a positive and energetic demeanor. This role involves not only providing impeccable customer service but also maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the poolside area to ensure it remains an inviting escape for residents. Responsibilities are wide-ranging and include greeting residents, assisting with seating and distribution of amenities like towels and refreshments, and supporting poolside activities and events.
In addition to resident interaction and customer support duties, the Pool Concierge is responsible for the setup and daily maintenance of pool furniture such as lounge chairs and umbrellas, helping with light food and beverage service when applicable, and ensuring restrooms and refreshment stations are neat and stocked. The role also involves monitoring access control by verifying resident wristbands or key tags and enforcing pool guest policies to maintain a safe and secure environment. In situations involving potential safety hazards or unauthorized activities, the Pool Concierge is required to act swiftly by reporting issues to management or security personnel and, in emergencies, by contacting emergency services.
The ideal candidate for this role will bring a mix of hospitality experience and genuine enthusiasm, creating a fun and engaging atmosphere at the pool. Strong communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to multitask efficiently in an outdoor, fast-paced environment. The position requires availability on weekends, holidays, and during special event hours, alongside physical stamina to stand, walk, and perform outdoor duties for extended periods. Candidates must be at least 16 years old, with CPR and First Aid certification preferred but not mandatory.
This is a part-time opportunity with typical shifts lasting 6 to 7 hours, primarily on weekends and holidays, to accommodate the times when pool use is most active. This role offers a chance to be part of a vibrant community atmosphere while providing outstanding hospitality services, making it an excellent position for those looking to grow in customer service or recreational facility management environments within a residential community setting.
