The Pool Concierge role at Life Time is a dynamic position designed to enhance the outdoor pool experience for members and guests. It involves delivering top-tier customer service by warmly greeting everyone entering the pool area, verifying memberships and guest passes, and assisting with various poolside duties. This role is critical in maintaining a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment, ensuring that all patrons have a positive and memorable visit. The Pool Concierge must be well-versed in Life Time’s products and services to confidently answer questions and guide members as needed. Beyond customer interaction, the position requires maintaining the cleanliness of the pool area, distributing wristbands and towels to junior members and guests, and being attentive to the facility’s upkeep during service hours. This position is particularly suited for individuals who thrive in active, outdoor environments, enjoy engaging with people, and take pride in delivering exceptional service. Employment in this role is typically part-time and seasonal, with key responsibilities centered around the summer months when the outdoor pool is in full operation. The position offers valuable experience in customer service and hospitality within a reputable health and wellness organization and provides opportunities for professional growth and certification.

Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • CPR and first aid certified
  • Minimum of 6 months customer service experience
  • Ability to stand for minimum of 4 hours at a time
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to proficiently use a computer and tablet
  • Ability to work outside in summer months for minimum of 4 hours at a time

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • CPR and first aid certified
  • Minimum of 6 months customer service experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to proficiently use a computer and tablet
  • Preferred minimum of 6 months reception experience
  • Preferred lifeguard certifications within 60 days of hire

Job Duties

  • Greet and admit members and guests into the outdoor pool
  • Validate member and guest access through pool memberships and guest passports
  • Provide wristbands for junior members and guests
  • Hand out towels to pool users
  • Perform basic upkeep and maintenance of the pool deck area
  • Answer questions related to Life Time products and services
  • Maintain professional and helpful demeanor at all times
