Job Description
Life Time is a premier health and wellness company dedicated to providing exceptional experiences for its members through state-of-the-art facilities and outstanding customer service. Known primarily for its expansive fitness centers, outdoor pools, and extensive range of wellness programs, Life Time operates with a mission to inspire healthier lives and stronger communities. Life Time prides itself on creating an inclusive, diverse, and welcoming environment for members and employees alike, fostering a culture of respect and opportunity that supports professional growth and personal well-being.
The Pool Concierge at Life Time plays a vital role in maintaining the positive and inviting atmosphere that members expect from their outdoor pool experience. This role involves delivering the highest quality customer service through professional greetings, effective account maintenance, and comprehensive knowledge of Life Time's various products and services. The Pool Concierge is directly responsible for ensuring that all members and guests feel welcomed and supported during their time at the outdoor pool area.
As a Pool Concierge, you will be the first point of contact for members and guests accessing the pool, greeting them warmly and validating their membership or guest access with efficiency and accuracy. Additional responsibilities include completing pool deck duties such as providing wristbands for junior members and guests, distributing towels, and conducting basic upkeep of the pool space to keep the environment clean and orderly. The role requires a proactive approach in anticipating member needs and answering questions promptly to ensure a seamless customer service experience.
This position requires physical stamina, as the Pool Concierge must be able to stand for extended periods and comfortably work outdoors during the summer months. Certification in CPR and First Aid is mandatory to help ensure the safety and well-being of all guests. While prior reception experience and lifeguard certification are preferred, the position welcomes motivated individuals who demonstrate excellent communication skills, computer and tablet proficiency, and a genuine passion for member interaction.
Life Time is committed to providing a supportive workplace that values diversity and inclusion. Employees are encouraged to develop professionally within a company that promotes merit-based advancement and respects individual contributions. The Pool Concierge role offers an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team dedicated to promoting health, wellness, and community engagement. The employment type is typically full-time or part-time seasonal with competitive compensation aligned with industry standards. This role is ideal for candidates seeking to enhance their customer service career in a health-oriented and community-focused setting.
