Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village is currently seeking a Pool Bartender to join its dynamic and dedicated team. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage of $19.52 and is perfect for professionals passionate about creating seamless and memorable poolside experiences for guests. The Pool Bartender plays a vital role in enhancing the guest experience by providing attentive beverage service with a genuine and engaging approach. Responsibilities include preparing and serving a curated selection of cocktails, wines, and spirits according to established Four Seasons standards while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

The ideal Pool Bartender will actively engage with guests by greeting them warmly, anticipating their needs, and responding promptly to any requests or concerns with poise and professionalism. Expertise in using the hotel’s point-of-sale system to manage guest orders efficiently and accurately is essential. The role also requires substantial knowledge of a wide variety of alcoholic beverages, including liquors, wines, ports, armagnacs, eau de vies, and specialty drinks.

In this role, the Pool Bartender contributes to the warm and welcoming atmosphere that defines the Four Seasons brand.   • High school education or equivalent experience
  • Minimum two years bartending experience or related work
  • Ability to pour, mix, and blend a wide variety of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks
  • Ability to accurately process cash and credit card transactions
  • Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks from the menu while ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to established recipes and established Four Seasons standards
  • Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests from the lounge server using the hotel’s point-of-sales system
  • check completed orders with the guest’s original order
  • Service and take orders from guests seated at the bar area offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of the each item's, origin, taste, and preparation methods
  • maintain a working knowledge of liquors, wines, beets, ports, armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs and specialty drinks
  • Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests
  • Properly and accurately close guest checks
  • process cash and credit card payments
  • properly settle voided checks or complimentary items
