Job Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form
- minimum one year food and beverage experience
- ability to work in high-volume environment maintaining health and safety standards
- knowledge of proper beverage service
- ability to maintain comp and cash handling procedures
- capability to train new team members
- prior experience in bartender position preferred
- ability to pronounce wine list and menu items
- knowledge of sequence of service
- understanding of health code regulations
- familiarity with food and beverage menus and ingredients
- knowledge of safety and emergency evacuation procedures
- awareness of SDS booklets location
- ability to manage time with minimal supervision
- flexibility to work varied schedules
- must obtain and maintain required certifications including California Food Handler and Responsible Beverage Service
- physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and more with assistance
- ability to work in varying temperature conditions
- ability to perform physical movements such as bending, twisting, and climbing
- manual dexterity and normal hearing range
- must be at least 21 years of age

Job Duties
- Redefine hospitality by living and promoting Graton Resort & Casino values
- perform responsibilities according to standards, policies, and procedures
- handle cash and process payments
- describe menu items in detail and provide pairing recommendations
- maintain designated areas including bar, lounge, and dining spaces
- ensure the bar and service areas are clean, stocked, and organized
- verify par levels for products and notify management of shortages
- observe and anticipate guest needs and deliver items timely
- report guest opportunities to manager
- keep storage liquor room organized
- use FIFO method for inventory handling
- utilize cleaning supplies properly
- support management with additional duties as assigned
