The Pool Attendant position at HHM Hotels is a vital role designed to ensure guests enjoy a clean, safe, and welcoming pool environment. It is essential to practice safe work habits, comply with regulatory standards such as OSHA and MSDS, and occasionally work varied schedules including weekends, holidays, and alternate shifts. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Prior related experience preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to work weekends, holidays and alternate shifts
  • Physical ability to perform duties including bending, reaching, kneeling, stooping, crawling and climbing

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in hospitality or related field preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning and sanitization practices
  • Understanding of safety and regulatory standards
  • Strong interpersonal skills and guest service orientation
  • Ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Greet guests and attend to their pool-related needs including towel distribution and cabana rentals
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitization of the pool area and equipment
  • Collect and replenish pool towels and monitor inventory
  • Track pool towels assigned and returned by updating daily logs
  • Focus on guest satisfaction scores and contribute to increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction
  • Follow sustainability guidelines and practices under HHM's EarthView program
  • Practice safe work habits and comply with MSDS and OSHA standards
  • Perform other duties as requested by management
