Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Must be physically able to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Must adhere to hotel safety and emergency protocols
- Ability to lift moderate weight as required
- Must maintain a clean and professional appearance
- Drug-free workplace compliance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products and safe handling procedures
- Familiarity with hotel safety and emergency procedures
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently
- Physical stamina to perform active work throughout the day
- Willingness to assist guests and respond courteously to requests
Job Duties
- Maintain overall cleanliness of lobby areas including cleaning glass doors and registration desk and vacuuming floors
- Clean public restrooms including sinks, toilets, floors and replenishing supplies
- Replenish supplies and clean trash and glass in pool area, check spa water and bromine levels
- Clean exercise room mirrors, equipment, take out trash, vacuum floors and clean glass doors
- Water flowers around hotel exterior as applicable
- Clean guest laundry area including washer, dryer, tables and floors
- Assist with heavy laundry loads when required
- Perform general cleaning of offices, front office areas and associate break room
- Clean associate bathrooms including sinks, toilets, floors and replenishing supplies
- Communicate changes in suite status with front desk
- Assist Chief Engineer with guest maintenance complaints
- Deliver cribs, roll-away beds and other amenities to suites and record locations in log book
- Know hotel emergency procedures
- Accommodate guest special requests courteously
- Answer guest questions about hotel and local area facilities and services
- Ensure swimming pool and spa maintenance duties comply with manufacturer specifications and health regulations
