Job Duties
- Direct and organize the activities of the Pool and Beach staff
- Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, service, and marketing
- Plan and direct the functions of administration and planning of the Pool and Beach department
- Implement effective controls of food, beverage, and labor costs
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards
- Interview, train, supervise, counsel, schedule, and evaluate staff
- Perform daily and regular inspection of Pool and Beach areas for readiness and cleanliness
- Handle guest complaints diplomatically
- Monitor budget goals and labor costs
- Oversee purchasing, inventory, and storage for food and beverage products
- Conduct performance appraisals and disciplinary actions
- Facilitate staff meetings and maintain accurate records
- Ensure maintenance and cleanliness in coordination with related departments
- Execute emergency procedures and ensure safety compliance
- Manage payroll and Micro system operations
- Promote teamwork and maintain high employee morale
- Conduct weekly inventory of food and beverage items
- Facilitate guest special requests and build customer loyalty
