Located at 9703 Collins Ave, Bal Harbour, Florida, the St. Regis invites candidates to join its food and beverage team in a full-time, non-management position. This role focuses on delivering professional, courteous, and efficient food and beverage service to guests in the pool and beach outlets, upholding the high standards of the St. Regis brand.

The Food and Beverage Server is pivotal in creating memorable guest experiences through attentive and personalized service. Responsibilities include setting up and cleaning tables, serving water, bread, and coffee, and greeting guests by name when possible. The role also involves handling closing duties such as storing reusable goods, cleaning equipment and areas, restocking, and securing the premises at the end of the shift. Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards throughout the day is essential, along with following all company policies and safety procedures.

This position requires strong attention to detail to ensure the cleanliness and presentation of all serviceware prior to use. It demands physical stamina, including the ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, and to lift or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Job Duties

  • Provide professional, courteous and efficient presentation of food and beverage service to guests
  • Clean and set up tables in the outlet
  • Serve water, bread, and coffee and greet guests by name when possible
  • Stack trays properly for efficient unloading for stewarding
  • Complete closing duties including storing goods, cleaning equipment, restocking items, and locking doors
  • Set up, stock, and maintain work areas
  • Inspect cleanliness and presentation of china, glass, and silverware prior to use
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas and practice clean-as-you-go procedures
  • Follow company and safety policies and report unsafe conditions
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards
  • Use clear and professional language and answer telephones with appropriate etiquette
  • Develop positive working relationships and support team goals
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
  • Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds
