Job Requirements
- must be at least sixteen years old
- applicants under eighteen must have a valid work permit
- must provide proof of City residency and maintain residency throughout employment
- must pass Pennsylvania Act 153 Clearance and Cogent Fingerprints through the Department of Human Services prior to appointment
- must undergo pre-employment background check including criminal background, driver license, and city tax payments
- must complete a medical examination prior to start date
- must be able to comply with all city application requirements and processes
Job Qualifications

- experience in customer service preferred
- ability to operate a cash register
- strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties
- Greet patrons when they enter and leave the facility
- sell pool tags and daily admissions
- manage cash operations and sales, ensuring sufficient change for transactions
- operate a cash register and maintain accurate sales records
- provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing complaints
- record and complete daily attendance of the facility
- perform closing procedures and ensure all money and checks are accounted for
- enforce facility rules and assist aquatic personnel in controlling patron behavior
- participate in Emergency Action Plans and cooperate with the aquatic team to ensure safety
- maintain cleanliness of the entire facility including deck, grass area, restrooms, and changing rooms
- issue stamps to patrons for re-entry purposes
- maintain effective, positive relationships with the aquatic team
- work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- wear uniform at all times
