This job opening is for a full-time Night Shift Sleep Lab Technician, working from 7 PM to 7 AM. The role offers an increased pay rate and a sign-on bonus of $3,000. The technician will perform duties under the supervision of the Sleep Lab Coordinator and Clinical Medical Director to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. Responsibilities include performing polysomnography, home sleep apnea testing, diagnostic and therapeutic services, patient care, and patient education. The technician will provide care to a diverse patient population spanning pediatric to geriatric patients and will be responsible for ensuring that data collection and testing procedures adhere to established protocols and guidelines.

The Sleep Lab Technician will perform tasks such as preparing and calibrating equipment, applying electrodes and sensors, monitoring sleep studies, scoring sleep and clinical events according to AASM standards, and implementing appropriate therapeutic interventions including CPAP and BiPAP. The role requires critical thinking, teamwork, strong communication skills, adherence to infection control standards, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The technician will also be involved in maintaining equipment, generating reports, and providing compassionate customer service to patients and their families.
