Gracious Hospitality Management is a distinguished hospitality company known for its award-winning dining experiences and exceptional service standards. The company is expanding its innovative culinary ventures with the upcoming opening of 550 Madison, located inside the iconic Sony building in Midtown Manhattan. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in hospitality or food service preferred
  • ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • must be reachable by email and phone
  • ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays
  • adherence to company grooming and conduct standards

Job Qualifications

  • ability to read, speak, and understand English

  • food handler's certification or ability to obtain

Job Duties

  • receives, inspects, and polishes glassware, flatware, plate ware, and service equipment
  • removes defective items and reports to management
  • maintains cleanliness and appearance of dish pit area and equipment
  • completes setup and breakdown side work
  • trains new employees as assigned
  • assists other restaurant areas as needed
  • reports to shift on time and in uniform
