Job Description

University Police Department is seeking a vigilant individual to join as a Communication Center Specialist. This role involves ensuring the security of Law Enforcement Officers and facilities by operating a communication/situation center and providing non-sworn law enforcement support services.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to relate to the public verbally and in writing, with knowledge of spelling, punctuation, grammar, and filing
  • capacity to work in a confidential environment
  • adept at following instructions and clear communication
  • computer proficiency
  • physical ability to lift 40 lb. boxes, walk, stoop, bend, reach
  • excellent vision and hearing
