We are currently seeking a Host or Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. This role is integral to setting the tone for the entire dining experience by warmly welcoming guests and managing the flow of seating arrangements. As a host or hostess, you will provide accurate wait times, manage reservations, and monitor waiting lists to ensure smooth operations. Escorting customers to their assigned dining or bar areas, providing menus, and announcing the assigned waiter or waitress are additional key responsibilities. You will greet customers upon their departure and ensure the reception area is maintained impeccably.
Your role will also involve coordinating closely with wait staff about available seating options, attending to special guest needs such as children or elderly customers, and handling incoming calls to address customers' queries. Flexibility to work in shifts and sustain physical endurance to stand and walk during your shift are important.
