Additionally, this role entails supporting food presentation by assisting with traying salads, entrees, and desserts. Effective communication skills are required to liaise with the Banquet and Culinary teams, ensuring that event pull sheets are followed accurately and any discrepancies in inventory are promptly reported. Job Requirements

  • At least six months food and beverage experience required
  • Must be able to work any days of the week, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time as well as the ability to lift, push and pull a moderate amount of weight
  • Familiarized with chemicals used for cleaning and making sure they are properly labeled

Job Qualifications

  • Prior stewarding experience preferred
  • At least one-year supervisory experience preferred
  • At least six months food and beverage experience required
  • Must be able to work any days of the week, including weekends and holidays
  • Hospitality-related (hotel, country club, or event venue) experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of computer systems (Word, Excel, Email) preferred but not necessary
  • Familiarized with chemicals used for cleaning and making sure they are properly labeled
  • Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time as well as the ability to lift, push and pull a moderate amount of weight

Job Duties

  • Polishes all required equipment including chafers, flatware, coffee and water pitchers
  • Pulls and issues equipment as outlined on function pull sheet completed by captains
  • Ensures equipment is properly rotated in use on events
  • Responsible for inventory of equipment
  • Prepares back aisle items for banquet functions
  • Assists with traying of salads, entrees and desserts
  • Keeps glassware organized at all times, storing dishware in the proper location
  • Monitors trash levels in all cans and removes when needed
  • Ensures clean working environment in back hall and loading dock area through daily sweeping and mopping
  • Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance
