Job Description

Il Falo Wood Fired Kitchen is a distinguished dining establishment located inside The Westin Raleigh-Durham Airport, a notable hotel known for its excellent hospitality services and prime location. The restaurant specializes in wood-fired cuisine, delivering authentic, high-quality dishes in a warm and inviting atmosphere that draws both local patrons and travelers seeking a memorable dining experience. The venue embodies a blend of refined taste and comfortable elegance, making it a preferred spot for guests who appreciate exceptional food and attentive service in a sophisticated setting. As part of The Westin's offerings, Il Falo contributes significantly to the luxury hospitality experience the hotel provides, reinforcing its reputation for culinary excellence and guest satisfaction.

CMC Hotels, the parent company overseeing this operation, is dedicated to fostering growth and development within its workforce. The company prides itself on a core philosophy of "Growing People," emphasizing that employees are the heart of its organization. This approach promotes a supportive work environment that values each team member's contributions and offers ample opportunities for career advancement. Employment at Il Falo Wood Fired Kitchen under CMC Hotels is more than just a job; it is a chance to build an enriching career in the hospitality industry with a company committed to employee success and well-being.

The role of an Evening (PM) Server at Il Falo Wood Fired Kitchen is crucial in shaping the guest experience by providing exceptional service during the dinner hours. Servers are responsible for greeting guests warmly, taking and accurately delivering food and beverage orders, and ensuring that all dishes meet the restaurant's high standards for presentation and quality. Maintaining a clean and orderly dining environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards, and engaging with guests to enhance their overall experience are also key components of this role.

This position requires a friendly, outgoing individual with a passion for hospitality and guest interaction. Prior experience in hospitality or food service is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros, and OpenTable reservation software. While ServSafe certification is a plus, the most important qualities are a strong work ethic, teamwork, and the ability to handle feedback professionally and courteously. Physical stamina is necessary, as the role involves lifting, pushing, and pulling moderate weights, as well as having reliable transportation and the ability to pass a background check.

CMC Hotels offers a comprehensive benefits package based on eligibility, including competitive pay rooted in experience, paid vacation and personal leave, health benefits encompassing dental, vision, life insurance, and both short and long-term disability coverage. The company also provides holiday pay, a 401(k) program, hotel discounts, incentives, and access to Teladoc Healthiest You services for virtual healthcare at minimal cost. Employees enjoy a culture of recognition, support, respect, and opportunities for career advancement, making this an attractive position for those looking to grow within the hospitality industry.
