Positioned uniquely within one of Austin's most beloved green spaces, the hotel boasts sweeping views of Lady Bird Lake and the city skyline, delivering an exceptional indoor-outdoor environment that compliments its luxurious rooms and impeccable service.
As a modern luxury hotel, The Loren prides itself on delivering personalized and exclusive amenities to discerning travelers and residents. The hotel embodies a spirit of innovation and excellence, catering to guests who seek more than just accommodation—those who demand creativity, elegance, and a connection to the vibrant local culture. Emphasizing a philosophy of being uncompromising by nature, The Loren attracts risk-takers and creative minds who value artistry, fine dining, and cultural experiences.
The opportunity at The Loren Hotel is to join the Nido Restaurant team as a full-time server, a vital role responsible for ensuring guests receive impeccable service that matches the hotel’s high standards. The Nido Server acts as the face of the restaurant, greeting guests warmly and providing attentive care throughout their dining experience. This role requires expertise in handling food and beverage orders with precision and grace, ensuring every guest feels valued and attended to. The server must be knowledgeable about menu items, able to make recommendations, and maintain cleanliness and organizational standards throughout the service areas including the kitchen and pool deck. By adhering to state and local health regulations, the server upholds the restaurant’s commitment to safety and quality.
The Loren values employees who are spirited, dedicated, and customer-centric. Those who take pride in their appearance and demeanor will find this role a fulfilling way to contribute to an elite hospitality environment. The server takes part in team meetings to stay well-informed on menu changes and service protocols and responds proactively to customer inquiries or concerns with professionalism and charm.
The position offers a comprehensive benefits package, including participation in a 401(k) plan with company match, extensive medical plans featuring zero deductible and co-pay options, dental and vision coverage, flexible spending accounts, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, hospital indemnity, paid holidays, paid time off, maternity and paternity leave, and an employee assistance program. Additionally, staff enjoy complimentary meals, bus passes, substantial dining discounts, and recognition programs.
Joining The Loren as a Nido Server means becoming part of a passionate hospitality team dedicated to delivering excellence to guests in a setting that blends natural beauty with luxury. The hotel culture fosters teamwork, integrity, and innovation, encouraging associates to be free spirits with a soul, bringing not only skill but personality and warmth to their work. This role is perfect for individuals with experience in restaurant or luxury hotel service who want to grow their career in an inspiring and supportive environment.
