The role of the Room Attendant is integral to maintaining the high standards of hospitality expected at this property. This position is housed within the Housekeeping Department and operates under the supervision of the Executive Housekeeper or Assistant Housekeeping Manager. The Room Attendant is primarily responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms and public spaces, ensuring each area meets stringent standards of cleanliness, comfort, and guest satisfaction. The job demands a thorough adherence to established housekeeping procedures and an efficient work ethic to support the seamless daily operations of the hotel. The ideal candidate will perform a wide range of tasks including cleaning bathrooms, beds, floors, and replenishing linens and supplies, consistently adhering to the brand's cleanliness standards. This role is key to delivering an exceptional guest experience by maintaining impeccable room conditions and promptly reporting any maintenance issues or damages. Beyond room upkeep, the position also involves maintaining the tidiness of hallways, carts, and storage areas while following all safety and sanitation protocols, particularly in the handling of cleaning chemicals. The Room Attendant should exhibit strong attention to detail, a professional demeanor, and the ability to respond courteously to guest requests. This role may also extend to assisting with laundry and public area cleaning as assigned, requiring flexibility and a team-oriented approach.
