Job Description

Texican Court - Las Colinas, located in Irving, TX, is a pillar of the community and a proud member of the Valencia Hotel Group. Our hotel stands out as a unique and distinguished establishment, crafted to meet the expectations of today's passionate traveler. Valencia Hotel Group is known for its collection of properties that blend modern design with timeless classic character, ensuring guests experience sophistication and comfort with every visit. We are driven by a commitment to excellence and an empowered team culture, where every team member is encouraged to go above and beyond in delivering exceptional service.

We are currently seeking outstanding talent to join our award-winning team as a Customer Service Representative in our upscale dining facility. This role demands a friendly and engaging professional who can provide not only exceptional customer service but also an elevated dining experience to our guests. Your role will be essential to maintaining the high standards and warm atmosphere that Texican Court is proud of.

The Customer Service Representative will primarily provide service during evening shifts from 3pm to 11pm. You will be responsible for waiting on tables, marketing, selling, and serving a diverse range of meal items with professionalism and enthusiasm. This position requires a team player who contributes positively within the department, participates actively in ongoing training, and adheres strictly to Valencia Hotel Group's policies and standards for safe and efficient hotel operations.

Your knowledge of menu items will be comprehensive, including prices, preparation methods, ingredients, and quality standards such as taste, appearance, texture, serving temperature, portion size, garnish, and presentation method. As part of your service duties, you will maintain full knowledge of all liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic selections, alongside glassware and garnishes, complying with all state laws including liquor regulations to prevent underage or intoxicated service.

Effective communication and guest relations are core to your responsibilities, including greeting guests warmly, suggesting beverage orders using upselling techniques, and handling guest complaints with discretion and dedication to satisfaction. You will also be involved in the operational side by ensuring stations are organized and ready, inputting orders accurately into the point-of-sale system, assisting kitchen teams, and participating in meetings and trainings.

Your role directly supports the overall guest experience at Texican Court - Las Colinas, a venue that not only offers quality dining but also reflects the values and culture of the Valencia Hotel Group. If you are looking to be part of a community-focused, dynamic team that values passion, professionalism, and service excellence, this opportunity awaits you.
