Job Duties
- Responsible for serving drinks to guests following standard recipes, policies and procedures
- Responsible for serving guests while complying with a sequence of customer service standards to positively impact the guests' experience
- Assume a pleasant and helpful attitude towards guests and fellow staff members
- Recommend certain dishes, identify ingredients and explain how various items on the menu are prepared
- Complete an accurate opening and closing inventory of product
- Ensure all equipment is operable and clean
- Arrange bottles to make and maintain an attractive display behind the bar
- Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
- Maintain cleanliness of bar and lobby tables utilizing sanitation procedures
- Recognize guests that are visibly intoxicated and take action to cut off alcohol to such individuals
- Maintain sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas
- Compute the cost of the meal and present the guest with the check
- Accept payments and provide change as necessary
- Comply with the Company's standards of conduct
- Possess complete food and beverage knowledge and communicate in detail to guests
