Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least three years pastry cooking experience in a professional kitchen
  • availability to work 2pm to 10:30pm shifts
  • Maricopa County Food Handler Card required
  • ability to maintain professional appearance and demeanor
  • commitment to safety and sanitation guidelines
  • physical ability to handle kitchen duties

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • graduation from an apprenticeship or accredited culinary school preferred
  • at least three years pastry experience in a professional high-volume kitchen
  • one year of hotel experience preferred
  • upscale or luxury dining experience preferred
  • Maricopa County Food Handler Card
  • ServeSafe Food Handler Certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Produce baked goods for all outlets on time and according to specifications
  • assist with banquet production and weekly brunches
  • maintain daily inventory and prepare requisitions for production
  • date, label, and store items properly in approved containers
  • follow food handler guidelines and ensure strict sanitation and cleanliness
  • rotate stock and discard questionable items after checking with chef
  • adhere to all resort safety, sanitation policies, and professional appearance standards
  • demonstrate knowledge and action in emergency situations
