Job Requirements
- Ability to work PM shifts on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday
- ability to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to work in high-pressure situations
- physical ability to lift and move 10-25 pounds
- ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, or carry items occasionally
- physical ability to work prolonged periods sitting and working on a computer
- frequent use of fine motor skills for keyboarding and writing
- ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- valid driver’s license and safe driving record
- willingness to provide excellent guest service promptly
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- proven experience with strong customer service skills
- ability to handle guest complaints and concerns
- valid state driver's license or chauffeur's license if required
- proof of a safe driving record as indicated by Motor Vehicle Record
- strong work ethic and self-initiative
- ability to work as part of a team providing great experiences for guests
Job Duties
- Greet all guests arriving and departing the hotel
- hold the front doors as they enter and exit
- ensure guests feel welcome to the hotel and provide excellent guest service
- carry baggage to the guest's room
- accurately tag and store luggage for guests as needed and maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing luggage
- safely drive the hotel shuttle van
- have knowledge of the hotel property, hotel staff, and hotel services, including hours of operation
- give clear and accurate directions to hotel facilities and local area attractions
- suggest and promote the amenities of the hotel such as restaurant, lounge, and spa
- respond to requests for bell services within 2 minutes
