Job Description
Valley River Inn is Eugene's only riverfront hotel, offering guests a unique experience where natural beauty meets warm hospitality. Nestled along the scenic banks of the Willamette River, this hotel provides a tranquil retreat with over 250 fully renovated rooms and suites that embody the charm of the Pacific Northwest. Each accommodation is thoughtfully designed to balance modern upscale comforts with the natural surroundings, making every stay both comfortable and memorable.
The hotel is not only a place of rest for travelers but also a vibrant venue for local gatherings and events. Home to Sweet Waters on the River, a renowned local dining spot, Valley River Inn also boasts over 15,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space, catering to a wide range of occasions from intimate meetings to large celebrations. Its prime location near downtown Eugene, the University of Oregon, and iconic landmarks such as Autzen Stadium and Hayward Field positions Valley River Inn at the center of Eugene's cultural and recreational life.
The role of PM Lobby Attendant at Valley River Inn is an integral part of maintaining the hotel’s high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This position primarily focuses on upholding the pristine appearance of both back-of-house and public areas within the hotel. The attendant is responsible for cleaning and organizing spaces with great attention to detail, ensuring every corner reflects the quality and care the hotel is known for.
In this role, you will be a key team player who supports housekeeping and collaborates with other departments to ensure the property remains welcoming and spotless. Responsiveness is crucial, as you will quickly address spills, trash removal, and other cleaning needs upon request, helping to prevent any disruptions to the guest experience. Safety is also a priority, with strict adherence to proper bending, lifting techniques, and established safety procedures to protect both yourself and your colleagues.
This position offers an hourly wage of $17.00 with eligibility for perks dependent upon job status. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability coverage, and a 401K plan, along with paid time off, holiday pay, and contributions to HSA/FSA plans. Additional perks include a LTD bus pass, daily pay options, referral bonuses, discounted lodging, dining, spa, golf, and retail opportunities, and access to an employee assistance program and volunteer initiatives.
Valley River Inn prides itself on a values-based culture that promotes inclusivity, respect, and employee engagement. The company encourages growth and development through committee participation, task force work, and online learning platforms. With a welcoming and supportive team environment, this role offers more than just a job - it’s a chance to be part of a community focused on creating exceptional experiences for both guests and employees alike. Whether you have the perfect background or are enthusiastic to learn and grow, Valley River Inn invites you to join their dedicated team and contribute to an outstanding hospitality experience.
