Job Requirements

  • Minimum 6-12 months culinary/kitchen experience
  • ability to clearly communicate with team members
  • must be able to stand for long periods and lift 30lbs regularly
  • flexible to work nights and weekends based on business needs
  • must be 18 years or older or provide proof of work permit

  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • basic skills operating kitchen equipment
  • understanding of portion control and quality standards
  • ability to work evening closing shifts
  • strong teamwork and time management skills

Job Duties

  • Available to work PM closing shifts
  • work closely with the culinary team to support café operations
  • maintain full understanding of the Erewhon brand and café menu
  • prepare and cook various food items following quality standards and portion control
  • perform opening, closing, and side work duties as directed by the Culinary Manager
  • complete end-of-day inventory and other duties according to company checklists
  • ensure proper food temperatures are maintained and food is stored correctly
  • maintain a clean and sanitized work area, equipment, and coolers
  • assist with receiving orders and proper storage
  • operate basic kitchen equipment
  • follow proper knife safety procedures
  • perform additional duties as assigned by management
