Job Description
Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is a leading family-owned company specializing in providing exceptional residential care and lifestyle services for seniors across more than 60 communities nationwide. With a deep commitment to fostering a welcoming, supportive, and resort-style living environment, RLC places a strong emphasis on respect, honesty, kindness, compassion, and service excellence. This dedication shapes every aspect of their operations, ensuring that employees, residents, and stakeholders alike benefit from a nurturing and enriching atmosphere. The company’s mission is built upon four pivotal goals: happy employees, happy residents, maintaining full occupancy, and operating on budget. These objectives underscore RLC’s holistic approach to senior community management by prioritizing both human and business considerations.
Working at RLC means becoming part of a servant-hearted community where teamwork and shared values guide daily practices. RLC understands that serving seniors is not just a job but a calling, which drives their ongoing efforts to cultivate meaningful relationships and provide high-quality care with compassion. Employees are supported by leadership and empowered to make a genuine difference in residents’ lives, creating a workplace where personal purpose meets professional mission.
The PM Kitchen Helper at RLC plays an essential role in enhancing the resident dining experience by maintaining a fresh, appetizing salad bar and providing friendly table service during lunch and dinner hours. This position is tailored for those who appreciate teamwork, attention to detail, and a desire to support community well-being through safe food handling and sanitation practices. This role operates Tuesday through Saturday, from 11:30 am to 8:00 pm, offering frontline support in the kitchen and dining room without requiring prior culinary experience. Responsibilities include preparing and replenishing the salad bar, bussing tables, assisting with room service deliveries, operating dishwashing equipment, and ensuring cleanliness and order in dish and food prep areas.
The position demands a reliable and consistent work ethic, with an emphasis on safety in washing and sanitizing kitchenware and tableware to maintain the community’s high standards of hygiene. The PM Kitchen Helper also interacts with residents to ensure satisfaction and promptly reports any concerns to leadership. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing and family-oriented organization that values each team member's contribution to its overall mission.
As a full-time employee in this role, candidates benefit from a variety of competitive compensation packages and substantial benefits including paid time off, 401(k) with employer match, and a generous benefit stipend applicable to health, dental, vision insurance, life insurance, disability plans, and more. RLC strives to cultivate a meaningful work environment where employees feel appreciated and are encouraged to grow both personally and professionally within the inspiring setting of senior residential communities.
